The intentions of our Family Education initiatives are to:

• involve family members in their children's Jewish education from the earliest stages,
• establish contexts for lifelong learning that will impact the family,
• strengthen the home as a center of Jewish life,
• connect Jewish values and learning to decision making and actions in all aspects of life,
• create connections to community in an environment that nurtures Jewish life,
• empower parents to become Jewish models and teachers for their children by providing skills and knowledge,
• promote a partnership of all professional and lay education leaders within each site, and
• continue to develop the profession of family education and support the professional growth of Jewish family educators.
